UFC Fight Night Sandhagen v Moraes Fight Predictions

Hello!
I hope every single one of you is having a good week, and if not, I hope it gets better.
This is a chunky card, not too huge but getting there. Some excellent fights but also a whole lot of debuts and a whole lot of new faces which makes predicting kinda difficult. But with that aside, lets get down and dirty.
I'm thinking of adding some more stats, but i've yet to decide what kind of stats. I'm not a numbers guy but I know a lot of you are, so let me know what you're most interested in, in terms of stats.
(c) - Champ
(D) - Debut
FLS - Fight Lose Streak
FWS - Fight Win Streak
NS - No Streak
(#x) - Rank in Division
Lets go!
Prelims
Flyweight
Tagir Ulanbekov (#1 Russia) (D) (12-1-0, 3 FWS) v Bruno Silva (10-5-2, 2 FLS) - A very interesting debuting fighter coming from Russia, I fully expect some form of fireworks in this fight. Ulanbekov is coming in as a hot prospect, and for very good reasons, he is incredibly fast to work on the ground, if he sees a potential choke or a submission, he goes for it, and it’s not like he’s choking out cans or anything, he’s facing opponents who have 13 wins and 3 losses, people who have a legitimate career in MMA, and that alone makes me think this is the perfect time to debut in the UFC, we need to beef up the Flyweight division, and this is a perfect addition to the roster. Silva is also a profoundly good grappler, with a heavy focus on takedowns and taking control on the ground, it’s unfortunate that in both of his UFC fights, he got absolutely dominated by both Dvorak and Taha. I don’t see Silva getting the upper hand on the ground in this bout. If he manages to land a takedown on Ulanbekov, he needs to keep active or he’s probably going to get caught into a limb lock or an arm triangle because Ulanbekov is a very long and lanky fighter and so it would be easier for him to slip in an arm for a choke or set up a triangle off the back. But i’m no psychic so I really don’t know how this fight will go. I got Ulanbekov on this one though, an incredibly interesting debutant.

Women’s Bantamweight
Tracy Cortez (7-1-0, 7 FWS) v Stephanie Egger (D) (5-1-0, 3 FWS) - I don’t really think there’s much going on in this fight. Cortez is a grinder. She doesn’t have the cleanest striking in the game, she might look incredibly wild, but all of that is to set up a takedown or initiate a clinch situation in which she can somewhat easily control her opponent. Cortez is physically very strong and that no doubt helps with her takedown and wrestling. That’s probably going to be her gameplan coming into this fight, get in close with a flurry then initiate a clinch. I don’t expect a finish. Egger is a very new fighter and I haven’t watched a lot of her videos yet, but from what I could see from two years ago, her striking was much like a teenagers bedroom, messy and depressing, it was very slow, and although it did open up her opponent to a takedown, that’s not gonna work in the UFC and I hope she’s refined her striking capabilities since then, i’m sure she has. I have Cortez on this one. I’m not gonna go into specifics into what she’s better at because frankly I have no clue, but in my opinion she’s got this.

Featherweight
Giga Chikadze (10-2-0, 5 FWS) v Omar Morales (10-0-0, 10 FWS) - I believe Morales is dropping down to 145 so that will be interesting. Chikadze is a very proficient kickboxer who doesn’t rely on overwhelming his opponent with vicious and wild combos, he is a patient fighter who waits for a perfect opening. He is great defensively but also very choosy, you’ll notice his diversity in targets, he’ll never throw the same thing twice. If there is one thing that i’m sure will land, it’s his kicks, his front kick and leg kicks are accurate and hit with impact. He is a very good kickboxer, plain and simple, and that’s already a big selling point for me. Morales is an undefeated prospect who has proven to use twice in the Octagon that his striking is excellent and can not be underestimated. His methodical movements and feints to read his opponent is imperative to his gameplan and he has such a diverse range of striking, his step in head kick not only covers a huge distance, but it lands, even if its on the glove its enough to back up his opponent and keep them guessing. This is a fun match up. Both fighters are at their prime and frankly i’m not sure who is going to win this one, we have yet to see Morales at Featherweight so already that makes me wonder how drained he will be, if he will be. I’m going with Chikadze on this one. He’s going to open up with strong leg kicks and negate Omars ability to explode and cover huge distances.

Bantamweight
Ali AlQaisi (8-4-0, NS) v Tony Kelley (6-2-0, NS) - This is a fun one. AlQaisi is a fairly well rounded fighter who had a very competitive fight against Irwin Rivera. There was a lot of energy and cardio used during this fight, so many explosive moves and not all of them were effective, so it’s very hard to tell where he is on a skill level. He still seems like a developing fighter so there is no doubt still a lot for him to work on, with that said though, he is powerful, his right hand, when it lands, it lands hard, nut Rivera isn’t exactly known for moving away from danger, and i suppose in this case, Kelley isn’t either. Kelley fought a wild and exciting fight against Kamaka earlier this year, it was the first fight of the event and both fighters stepped up to the occasion and made every fight fan tune in. It was a beautiful and violent fight, but it did make me wonder how far Kelley will go in the UFC. His defences aren’t exactly there, he covers up but he doesn’t move, he clashes and somewhat hopes to be the one standing after the end of those exchanges. He is a very fast and wild striker and he is no doubt going to make a solid career in the UFC, but he needs to be patient, especially in this fight where AlQaisi can explode and land some solid takedowns, takedowns which from what I can see, are an issue for Kelley. I should also note that Kelley is moving down a weight class, which means a larger weight cut and potentially a more drained Kelley. If he can safely cut weight and maintain his power and speed, then i’m all for Kelley winning this one. It’s just a difficult fight to predict overall.

Middleweight
Impa Kasanganay (8-0-0, 8 FWS) v Joaquin Buckley (10-3-0, NS) - Kasanganay has a very interesting stance when he fights, he stays quite low and loads up his punches, so expect him to come out low and looking for an overhand or a left-right hook combo. He doesn’t exactly have much head movement or raise any defenses, he’s more of a pressure fighter, someone who is constantly moving forward, eating shots only to throw them back with extra spice. From what I could see in his fight against Maki Pitolo, he loves his left hook to the head, followed by a straight right to the body, then finishing with a left hook to the head, so his ability to change target mid combo will be troublesome for any opponent because either way, he’s gonna land something, and that’s exactly why he stays so low when he moves around, such explosive and accurate movements. REally my biggest worry with Kasanganay is his absorption rate, the dudes a punch sponge, and in terms of longevity, it ain't the right way to fight, especially against a walking cloud like Buckley. Buckley has a heavy reliance on power and forward momentum. He will hop into range and launch an overhand left, a dangerous move, but as we saw with his fight against Holland, all it takes is one well placed shot and Buckley backs off. I don’t know who is going to win the exchanges coming into this particular fight since both fighters tend to explode in bursts, and with Impas tendency not to move his head, he’s a target waiting to get hit. I can only hope that Impa has implemented some form of head movement drills during his camp or else Buckley will find his mark and shut down Impa. This is an interesting fight simply because I can see it going either way, but I like what I see from Impa.
Kasanganay via KO R3
Heavyweight
Rodrigo Nascimento (8-0-0, 8 FWS) v Chris Daukaus (9-3-0, 2 FWS) - Nascimento is a submission artist who has completely shut down Don’tale Mayes, despite being the smaller fighter, it was very clear that Nascimento has worked incredibly hard to master his ground game and his takedown proficiency. What I loved about Nascimento was his attitude, he didn’t back down from the strikes of Mayes, and just stayed in his face. Now, this is heavyweights so its very clear that anyone at heavyweight can strike and has knockout capabilities, but not everyone has the masterful ground game like Nascimento. I’m not saying he’s Werdum levels of great on the ground, but he’s still a huge threat to pretty much any heavyweight that is allergic to any form of ground based fighting. Daukaus from what I can see, has pretty decent striking and great timing, especially with that right hand. He is not technical by any means, but he is also fairly young in terms of experience and knowledge and i’m sure that over time he will improve. I just don’t see Daukaus getting the upper hand here, the threat of the takedown will always be on Daukaus’s mind, and when fighters think one dimensionally like that “I gotta stop the takedown, i can’t get to the floor” they eat knuckles. I feel like Nascimento will overload the senses of Daukaus and end up taking the fight to the ground, maybe even rock him by faking a takedown.
Nascimento via Sub R2
Middleweight
Tom Breese (11-2-0, NS) v KB Bhullar (D) (8-0-0, 8 FWS) - These are some very tall Middleweights. Breese in his early career was a very formidable submission artist, and over time has racked up quite the resume of knockouts as well. In fact his only decision win in the UFC was against Keita Nakamura back in forever ago. Breese has faced some incredibly tough opponents and I truly believe that experience and his level of competition far exceeds that of the newcomer, no disrespect to Bhullar. Breese hasn’t been the most active fighter on the roster, in fact his last win was against Dan Kelly back in 2018. Bhullar is a tall, lanky middleweight who is on a fairly decent undefeated streak, the only thing that makes me mildly disappointed in his record, is the fact the he hasn’t fought the best of the best. Sure, he’s fought experienced fighters, but none on the level of Breese, so I feel like this will be a relatively large step and a challenging one at that. If Sherdog isn’t trippin on something, then I believe he also has a fight scheduled next month for DWCS, so he’s certainly getting his name out there. Bhullar seems fairly well rounded, with a variety of wins on his record, but he’s got quite a challenge ahead of him and I don’t see him winning very easily. Breese is a challenging fighter for anyone and it’s gonna be an interesting, competitive fight. I got Breese on this one.
Breese via KO R2
Main Card
Featherweight
Youssef Zalal (10-2-0, 4 FWS) v Ilia Topuria (D) (8-0-0, 8 FWS) - An interesting start to the main card. Zalal has slowly become a fighter that I have come to respect. He may not have any finishes in the UFC but he always puts on a spectacular performance and always introduces his opponents to the nasty style he has. He is incredibly fluid on the feet, and if you watched his last fight against Barrett a few weeks ago, you’ll know exactly why I love him so much, that spinning back kick in the first round? Cleaner than lemon pledge. Zalal is a perfect example of a striking prodigy that still has years ahead of him to learn and develop and that’s exactly why he’s going to go very far in the UFC. His footwork is impeccable and allows him to subtly switch stance and mask his incoming attacks with just a whole lot of feints and movement. Everything you love about kickboxing or striking based martial arts, you’ll love about Zalal. He has also won all 3 of his UFC fights this year, so I don’t see any slowing down from him. Topuria is on a very strong streak at the moment and by the looks of things is a substantial danger on the ground, 7 submission victories makes it pretty clear to me that he’s most comfortable on the ground and will most likely look to avoid any striking exchanges when fighting Zalal. Now, Topuria is a somewhat late replacement, but that shouldn’t matter too much because it gave both fighters a little over a week to prepare for the upcoming bout, which is much better than the typical covid-cancellations in which its an overnight change where both fighters think “who da fook is that guy”. This is an interesting fight, and i’ve got my eyes on Zalal winning this one, the year 2020 is made for Zalal, and he has certainly proven to us time and time again that he’s the next gen fighter that everyone wants to see.
Zalal via UD
Heavyweight
Tom Aspinall (8-2-0, 4 FWS) v Alan Baudot (D) (8-1-0, 2 FWS) - I fucking love this. Aspinall had his octagon debut a few weeks ago and he absolutely blew me away with his outstanding performance against Jake Collier. A knee to the body, followed by a one two combo within the span of 1.5 seconds, this dude isn’t a normal fat blob of a heavyweight that we’re used to seeing. He’s very fast, very powerful, and fucking huge. Now, I don’t want to overhype him because anything can happen and if there’s one thing that I saw that might be an issue for Aspinall, that’s his head movement, he might have too much of a reliance on counters and offensive, and not enough on avoidance and defense. But that’s just a quick ass analysis from a very short fight. Aspinall is someone you simply cannot miss, and that’s not a double entendre. Baudot is a debuting fighter coming from a strong record of 7 knockouts, although some of his opponents raise some sort of a red flag, especially when he fought some can called Yuto Nakajima. Baudot seems to be given a jump start and an easy path to the harder fights, but that’s not gonna fly in the UFC and when you have someone like Aspinall on the other side of the Octagon, you’re going to have to let everything fly loose. I don’t really know what Baudot has to offer that Aspinall hasn’t already seen. Shit i’m just pretty excited to see Aspinall again so soon. Ride this train whilst you can guys.
Aspinall via KO R1
Middleweight
Markus Perez (12-3-0, NS) v Drecis Du Plessis (#1 South Africa) (14-2-0, 2 FWS) - I have no idea what to think of this one. Perez has been semi-active during his UFC career, and with a rough loss against Wellington Turman, it’s hard for me to tell where he is at mentally and physically. His last win way back when Cejudo just fought Dillashaw… Feel old yet? Perez is probably going to be fighting differently, he was a proficient grappler and a wild striker, but perhaps throughout the past year or so he’s calmed down a bit and perhaps found himself a proper style that doesn’t tax on the cardio or is more effective. Now onto the interesting debuting fighter in Du Plessis. Du Plessis has a 100% finish rate and at a young age of 26 he isn’t showing signs of fatigue, he has been a dominant fighter throughout his whole career, 14 finishes, 16 including losses, but all that means is he’s never had a fight go the distance, and I doubt that’ll be the case here. Not exactly a deep dive analysis I know, but I think Du Plessis is going to show us something spectacular.
Du Plessis via KO R2
Heavyweight
Ben Rothwell (38-12-0, 2 FWS) v Marcin Tybura (#14) (19-6-0, 2 FWS) - This is gonna be a brawl. Rothwell is one of the most experienced heavyweights in the UFC, he’s up there amongst the likes of Overeem and Aleksei Oleinik. His experience is no doubt a key advantage coming into this fight, but he also has disgusting power. Especially when he aims for the nuts. The Skyscraper lost his soul that day. Rothwell is a powerhouse and whilst he doesn’t necessarily throw volume, he does have excellent timing with his strikes, he’s methodical and waits for the perfect time to land an overhand or a quick little combo. The only way I see him not really succeeding is on the ground, and Tybura is an incredible grappler, speaking of which… Tybura is on a relatively decent streak at the moment, granted it’s against relatively forgotten fighters, but that aside, he’s facing a legend and long standing heavy hitter, and I can say with some confidence that he’s going to be looking to grapple, and grapple a lot, we’ll see some long, drawn out ground game stuff going on, both fighters will probably be exhausted by Round 3, but in my opinion, Tybura will probably get the most advantage coming into this fight, because as I said very early on in this prediction post, every heavyweight can swing and land, but not every heavyweight has excellent wrestling capabilities. Tybura is that rare fighter that has the ability to simply take the fight to the ground. Tybura is I believe an underdog so if you want money, this feels like the safest underdog of the card to bet on. I got Tybura on this one. Feel free to bet on Rothwell because he has stupid power, but Tybura in my opinion has the tools.
Tybura via Sub R2
Co-Main Event
Featherweight
Edson Barboza (20-9-0, 3 FLS) v Makwan Amirkhani (16-4-0, NS) - Does Barboza need any introduction? If you’re new to this sport, then you’re about to watch one of the most insane kick-based strikers in the history of the UFC. The power and speed, and the sheer simplicity of Barboza's kicks still baffle me, how can something so simple look so incredible. It’s like a pizza, all it has is cheese, tomato sauce and maybe pepperoni, but holy hell it looks divine. That’s essentially Barboza’s kicks, it’s hella pizza. Now, unfortunately, Barboza is on a rough losing streak, but they’re also wins in a sense because those fights were absolute bangers and he stood his ground and fought like a champ throughout all three fights. Barboza seems to not do very well on his back pedal and I feel like Amirkhani will make use of that. If Amirkhani throws hands whilst coming forward, that negates the kicks of Barboza completely, you can’t kick and step backwards, you don’t only lose balance, but you also lose significant power, so even if you do land, nothing really big happens. Amirkhani is a very well rounded fighter with a very heavy focus on grappling, there really hasn’t been a fight where he doesn’t take down his opponent and mauls them completely. He isn’t the most active striker but that doesn’t mean he won’t strike. He needs to set up those takedowns somehow, and I know trading with Barboza isn’t a smart idea, but you can be smart about setting up a double leg, heck he could even catch a kick if he’s fast enough, either way, this feels like a traditional grappler v striker bout and it’s a perfect co-main. I don’t know who I have coming into this one. I am a huge, huge Barboza fan and personally I feel like he’s got this.
Barboza via KO R2

Bantamweight
Marlon Moraes (#3) (23-6-1, NS) v Cory Sandhagen (#4) (12-2-0, NS) - A great main event. Moraes needs no introduction, he has been on the top of the division for a very long time, and for a very good reason. Moraes is a magnificent striker, with sniper-like accuracy and he has such grace when he throws combinations. He also has significant power and he’s dangerous at all ranges, but especially in the clinch… His knees are masterful, it’s clear that it’s his main weapon because his clinch hold is strong enough to land knee, after knee, after knee, without a break. Moraes is a savage, plain and simple. He’s coming into this with some anger though because despite winning against Aldo, Aldo fought for the belt before him, it makes zero sense and it was a controversial decision. Sandhagen was on the receiving end of an incredibly quick submission by Aljamain Sterling, and we didn’t get a chance to see Sandhagens incredibly slick kickboxing. Sandhagen also has a very methodical movement style, a lot of switches that is very fast, and he just constantly changes, always changing his stance, giving his opponent different looks and with a wide variety of attacks, it’s clear that Sandhagen will be a challenge for anyone willing to trade, which is perhaps why Aljamain went to grapple instantly. I don’t know who is actually going to win this one. I’m 51/49 leaning on Moraes simply because of his experience and that clinch game could easily shut down the distance striking of Sandhagen, but on the other hand, Sandhagen will probably stick to a certain range to avoid any attempts at a clinch from Moraes. Sandhagen is coming in at a large physical advantage, with a huge reach advantage that could compliment his kicks and his ability to weave in and out of danger effortlessly. This is a great fight, and a fight like this isn’t easy to predict. Probably an unpopular pick but let’s do this.

Holy shit that's longer than I expected. I forgot to do a word count prior to copy and pasting from my drive.
Anyway, there it is!
I hope that there are no cancellations, because what happens with cancellations post-prediction is that the fight is null and void unfortunately, because there's just not enough time to re-write stuff. I gotta have my days off too ya know.

Project Aquarius - An Umbrella project with a focus on the study of the EBEs
All these projects were known by Dan but further expansion on their descriptions and relationships will be investigated further.
There is also something explained in the briefing documents as a Convergent Time Line and the document seems to explain a relationship that could explain why they are here, what they are doing, and why sampling of the population and life forms on this planet are being conducted.
I have and am submitting documents and background on this man to experts who can help, but giving him the benefit of the doubt, and after hearing similar tales from others who work in the Black World, if nothing else we want this man alive and free in the future along with other scientists and technicians who are working for the greater good.
Whether you believe these stories or not, there is a reason to take them seriously as there is already sufficient evidence of a cover-up. Maybe Majestic and the Committee are acting in the greater interest of humanity, but an uninformed public cannot make a determination. Without solid proof, these stories remain entertaining, but nothing that should detract from our interests in sports or fashion.
According to Dan, the officer he reported to was then Vice Adm. J.M. McConnell who was recently the Director of NSA. He is now retired into civilian life.

https://preview.redd.it/tk71wc1ygjv41.jpg?width=200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3d9e4748fef1e758359985527b5194af8ef58235
Mr. McConnell joined Booz·Allen in March 1996 after serving as Director, National Security Agency (NSA), the agency responsible for Signals Intelligence and for all Classified Information Security for the U.S. Government.
In addition to serving as Director of NSA, a position he held from 1992 to 1996, Mr. McConnell served as the Intelligence Officer for the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS-J2) during the dissolution of the Soviet Union and Operation DESERT STORM.
While serving on the Joint Staff, Mr. McConnell regularly briefed the President and his Cabinet Officers, international leaders, and the Senate and House of the U.S. Congress. He also appeared regularly on international television as the U.S. Intelligence Spokesman during the Gulf War. He achieved the rank of Vice Admiral in the U.S. Navy, where he spent more than 25 years as an Operational Intelligence Officer.
This is not something that is proven but is included here as an item for further research. Below is a recreation of the draft of the first page of the Aquarius document written by Dan which mentions McConnell.

Letters from USAF Major (ret) Tom Mack to Robert Collins
...regarding J-rod and Dr. Danny Crain Please see below email/letter written to me by a Thomas Mack on February 18th, 1999: Tom Mack was only 51 years old when he died of a stroke last month or in September 2000.
Up to February of 1999 I’d never heard of a Thomas Mack, and unfortunately, did I ever get the chance to meet him: But, all my other contacts who did know him said he was a great guy !
Also, Tom never knew that I already knew some of the people he referred me to: So, with permission from my sources I’m releasing this letteemail to the public: May Tom Mack rest in peace.........Rmc
Subject: Re: Groom Lake Date: Thu, 18 Feb 1999 16:38:54 -0800 (PST) From: THOMAS MACK [email protected] To: [email protected] Mr. Collins, I understand you are interested in the Air Force’s Investigation of UFOs. I have read you web site and was very impressed with the postings. I am a retired AF Major. I served from 1972 to 1994. My entire AF career was spent in AF Intelligence. I served with the Air Force Scientific Advisory Group, Groom Lake, NV, from Jun 75 to Apr 83 and from Mar 88 to Oct 94, my retirement date from the AF. I worked on numerous special projects. All involved the reverse engineering of captured UFOs. Yes, I was intimately involved in this operation. I worked with JAROD. We called him the "Puppet Master." The most perfect non-human being in the Universe. He actually had a good sense of humor. He could imitate anyone’s voice. A very clever creature. Comment: See bottom of EBEs 1, 2 ,3 and Jarod I worked on various other projects that involved the collection of UFO related intelligence. I worked with a Special Agent Richard Doty. Agent Doty was our counterintelligence agent. He would conduct operations to prevent the disclosure of our project. A very nifty guy. Very knowledgeable of the subject of UFOs. He was briefed into the program sometime in 1980. The entire program was classified above Top Secret. A classification of COSMIC-MAJIC. The program was called, Majestic-12. We operated under the control of this group. I wish I could go public, I could embarrass the Government. I can prove to the world, that the UFO Subject is real. I just wanted you to know you are on the right track. Keep it up. Find Agent Doty and he’ll should assist you in finding the truth. The last location of Agent Doty was in Albuquerque, NM. He was working for the Highway Patrol or maybe the State Patrol, whatever they call it in New Mexico. Good Hunting. BBSnow

Subject: Re: Fwd: Fish Face ? Date: Sat, 20 Feb 1999 18:12:39 -0800 (PST) From: THOMAS MACK [email protected] To: [email protected] Rick, STAAR was a special response team formed in the middle 50s. It consisted of experts in several different fields. Their main objective was to counter any Alien threat or attack. I heard about it and read some information on their activities, however, I was not involved with the team. I don’t recall whether the team was still in existence in the 70s. I only knew JAROD by that name or by Puppet Master. Never heard of him being referred to as Smiling Eyes. That could have been EBE-1, who lived from 1947 to 1952. Of course, that was before my time. As for Q-94-109A or the other documents you mentioned. I left in 1994 and was not privy to all the information that was being published. The format seems to be correct, however, I don’t recall the particular documents. Cosmic-Magic was a caveat for our program. Majestic 12 was the category of classification. As for the Cellular Subfraction analysis, Ambient Biochemistry and Subfraction biochemistry, I didn’t have a need to know that type of information. Although I had the special clearance for scientific intelligence, I probably didn’t think it was worth reading. I knew Captain Danny Crain. However, I think he was in DIA. Project Aquarius, R-4800, was the specific program we operated under. Papoose Site 4 was the location. Hope this helps. Tom

Project Star Flower
Dan has been working on a project once dubbed “Lotus” now coded as Star Flower 1. This project deals with the original seeding of the earth that started all forms of life. Panspermia holds that life on Earth was seeded from space, and that life’s evolution to higher forms depends on genetic programs that come from space.
It is a wholly scientific, testable theory for which evidence is accumulating.

https://preview.redd.it/soc15su6hjv41.jpg?width=400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b43a157e40a86f28d2e9300eef0e99bfe1944ef8
I met Dan one day for coffee and asked him if he believed in the Panspermia hypothesis, that earth was seeded by viruses, viroids, or bacteria from space. He said he did, but had a better explanation for the seeding of earth, an insight gained from his Lotus Project.
This was a surprise, but as he talked about it, the possibilities became most interesting in multiple ways.
The following note is taken from the Lotus Protocols and is a little heavy on scientific terms, but should convey a great dealing of meaning to an educated reader. There will be a glossary at the end of this work that will clarify some of the special terms that Dan uses frequently.
As a matter of REQUIRED reference,
the origins of life in the form of bacterial cells (publicly) currently dates to a little prior to 3.9 Billion Years Ago (BYA), quite an event for the early Archaean Eonwith promitochondrial endosymbionts seemingly entrenching to become mitochondria (proper) by 2 BYAterrestrial cyanobacteria appearing near 1.4 BYAand a significant taxa diversification of photosynthetic protoctists close to 1.3 BYA (correlated to the acquisition of symbiotic photosynthetic plastids)
(Annotation from Reference, and used to follow: See - Margulis, Lynn, "Symbiotic Planet" [2000] and "Five Kingdoms-..." [1988]).
Is it not interesting that the issue of the possible polyphyletic origins of those plastids remains open, yet dogma is pronouncing near certainty for the predecessor of mitochondria, or is it, really? Let’s take a close look at the contentions of Dr. Margulis.
In the search for mitochondrial origins, the varieties to look toward for guidance (according to Margulis, "Symbiotic...") would be either bdellovibrio (a small 0.3 micrometer pseudomonad that is aggressive to larger bacteria and even burrows into them, which respires its food sources and releases carbon dioxide) or paracoccus (an oxygen respiring micrococcus of diameter 1 micrometer [individual sphere]).
The problem, here, is this:
As late as 1981, citations of Margulis’ work carried statements that a likely category of mitochondrial precursor was an anaerobic phototrophic bacterium (purple nonsulfur bacteria, that synthesize organic compounds by direct incorporation of carbon dioxide).
A big difference? You bet your life! A crack in her theory? It is certainly a problem.
The crack is not found in the relevance of the new biochemical findings, alone. In the time from 1981 (really somewhere before and it was then cited in texts such as by Wallace, King, and Sanders in "Biology: the Science of Life", before fourth edition) until now, research has been progressing on the contents of mitochondria, and a striking resemblance has been found between those contents and those of bdellovibrio.
So, it appears that Margulis has moved her "chip of support" from the basic biochemistry of the purple nonsulfurs to the pseudomonads.
This is the mistake! (Not that the purple nonsulfurs were the end-all in the debate! You will soon see, quite the contrary!) Under the current line of thinking, as the mutualistic symbiosis progressed between endosymbiont and host, redundancy was screened out of the endosymbiont.
The endosymbiont no longer used a large portion of its biochemistry (and conversely its genomic components), as independent existence allegedly became a thing of the past.
Does this mean, necessarily, that the remaining "left over" biochemistry correlations (no matter how integral to the functioning of both the mitochondrion and that of the counterpart under question) must posit a singular direct taxonomic linkage between the two? Nope, not under serial endosymbiotic theory. Can this be akin to "cell apoptosis" for the theory? No. Not just yet.Is the correlation between the two (that is diminution of redundancy) correct? Probably so.The complementary behavior between mitochondrion and nucleus would infer as much. Is the origin of the relationship, a macroevolution from a pair of independent organisms necessitated for us to now see the refinement from redundancy? No.What say you of evolution? Are the first acts of progressing organismic metabolism (a shared dance of catabolism and anabolism) one imbued with a negotiated hyperbolic peace between predator and prey (see: Margulis, Lynn, "Microcosmos", 1997) or does life follow the apparent path of the Universe, a series of transparently stoic acts of Cosmos from Chaos? (Pick up a text of a creation myth.)
In defense of one or the other, I would reference to
"http//unisci.com/stories/19992/0621995.htm” for hierarchy through "productivity" (Drossel, Barbara, University of Manchester in England), conservation of gene clusters (Andersson, Siv G.E. and Eriksson, Kimmo "Dynamics of Gene Order Structures and Genomic Architectures", Department of Molecular Evolution, Evolutionary Biology Centre, Uppsala University, Sweden; as published on the internet, and a refutation to the Dawkin’s "Selfish Gene Theory" as published by Unisci "Daily University Science News" Efros, David R., [New England Complex Systems Institute], with an opinion defense by Dr. Bar-Yam, Yaneer, 04/25/2000).
I remain prepared (and would encourage) to debate the issuance of my opinions, relative the relevance between the aforementioned orders of magnitude."
A little further on, he has further reflections on the endosymbiotic theory proposed by Margulis...
"I believe that the scientists, including Margulis (but no mistake I have great admiration for her work), are too busy focusing on the newer biochemistry, then jumping from one foot to another in the search for the closest present biochemical counterpart, all the while praying that Gregor Mendel will justify their beliefs with results of Polymerase Chain Reaction. I have been guilty of the same.

Neo-Darwinism is an attempt to reconcile Mendelian genetics, which says that organisms do not change with time, with Darwinism, which claims they do.— Lynn MargulisArtificial selection never produces wholly new characteristics. There is no evidence that natural selection without the input of new genes does either.
The notion that mutation and recombination can compose new genes is implausible.
There is scant evidence that mutation and recombination can compose functional new genes that differ from any known predecessor by more than, say, a dozen essential nucleotides.
The evolution of antifreeze glycoproteins in Antarctic cod presents problems for both programs.
Evolution does not appear to be gradual, contrary to Darwin’s firm prediction.
The standard theory cannot explain why the coordinating genes that control the development of embryos and major features are often very similar across totally different species.
Convergent evolution is a surprise not well-explained by neo-Darwinism.
Macroevolutionary progress is not accounted for by neo-Darwinian microevolution.(3)
In accordance with new ideas on evolutionary biology beyond the neo-Darwinistic approach Dan finds that,
1) life comes from space2) the genesis seed has evidence of intelligent design and operation (not alien intelligence, but a cosmic creator intelligence).
Here is what he has to say about it:
“ Since my beginning within M_-# I have had the distinct honor of having been assigned to some of the most interesting projects known to humankind. From the work of Project Aquarius to the sands of the Iraq desert, I have attempted to (Com1: Block text set...) ...serve my country with the greatest effort and efficiency.
I deeply hope that my latest assignment, in Africa, has served the interests of the United States of America. For the past decade, I have been slowly formulating a thesis, bringing together the research of the greatest minds of humanity to attempt an answer to the ages old question of our origins. That formulation culminated in the L Project, later named Project S Fl.
In a nutshell, we have found the key elements to put together an ancient virus that not only once seeded our beautiful planet, but whose integral parts still play an act of continuous creation within the intricate web of life. That play, we believe, pushes forward the complexity found within the biosphere, to perfectly match species diversity to the other elements of our living world.
This sounds wonderful, however, just as there exists subtle behavioral cues within child’s play, so to we believe that such also resides, hidden within the conjoined L. Being armed with the most ancient DNA codes, having the power to manipulate the dance of the L; does not give us sufficient knowledge, the authority of its maker, or the right itself to conjoin, synthesize, or otherwise taunt it or its awesome powers.
Our span of control exists within the narrow range of careful study. To do more, we risk humanity..."
Much of what Dan describes is very technical and deals with protocols and procedures.
I am currently contacting friendly scientists to help decipher some of this. There is more to all of this which has been added from other confidential sources. It is always easy to dismiss these extraordinary claims, but I believe in going beyond skepticism and investigating every nuance. There is much going on here that will finally make sense to those with keen intuition.
We discussed DNA, but it is not just the structure of the molecules in DNA, but the resonances and vibrations that relate to extraordinary mathematical harmonies.
If DNA is seeded on planets, as Dan believes through a virus that split into two components, then cosmic seeding of planets is the norm and those planets which have developed the right conditions (geological intelligent design or the gaia hypothesis) where atmosphere, lithosphere, and magnetic field parameters are all fine-tuned for the development and flourishing of life by life itself.
Gaia Hypothesis’...the physical and chemical condition of the surface of the Earth, of the atmosphere, and of the oceans has been and is actively made fit and comfortable by the presence of life itself. This is in contrast to the conventional wisdom which held that life adapted to the planetary conditions as it and they evolved their separate ways.’’
Elsewhere, in relation to the definition of Gaia we find the following:
"The entire range of living matter on Earth from whales to viruses and from oaks to algae could be regarded as constituting a single living entity capable of maintaining the Earth’s atmosphere to suit its overall needs and endowed with faculties and powers far beyond those of its constituent parts..
[Gaia can be defined] as a complex entity involving the Earth’s biosphere, atmosphere, oceans, and soil; the totality constituting a feedback of cybernetic systems which seeks an optimal physical and chemical environment for life on this planet."
And in another section we find speculative thoughts concerning Gaia, and one’s which probably appealed to many of the readers who supported the various environmental groups, but at the same time provoked the hard-lined scientific critics of the Gaia Hypothesis:
"To what extent is our collective intelligence also a part of Gaia? Do we as a species constitute a Gaian nervous system and a brain which can consciously anticipate environmental changes?" [p147]
The Gaia Hypothesis has often been described by commentators as one of the most provoking singular ideas to have been put forward in the second half of this century, and while it struggled to be formally accepted in the fields of the traditional sciences in the 1970’s and early 1980’s, it certainly managed to provoke its share of debate. During this period, Lovelock prepared for a second publication.
Another theory discussed by Dan is that of endosymbiosis. This theory is propounded by Lynn Margulis and goes hand-in-hand with the Gaia Hypothesis.
“Effectively, Lynn Margulis contended that symbiosis, not chance mutation, was the driving force behind evolution and that the cooperation between organisms and the environment are the chief agents of natural selection -- not competition among individuals. She says that,"Darwin’s grand vision was not wrong, only incomplete. This was a little much to handle for some of her critics, and at first her theory was not accepted, especially in its original appearance alongside that of the Gaia Hypothesis: There were two fundamental components of Lovelock and Margulis’s Gaia theory:The planet is, in Margulis’s words, a "super organismic system"Evolution is the result of cooperative not competitive processes.
At that time in 1969, her paper was rejected by over a dozen scientific journals because no one knew how to evaluate it.
Finally, after a long and hard struggle against peer-reviewed resistance, she prevailed. The extent of vision and perseverance with her emerging theory is often measured by the reviews of critics.
It is therefore quite rewarding to find that one of the leading critics of the Gaia Hypothesis, Richard Dawkins, in reference to the separately contrived theory by Margulis states the following:
"I greatly admire Lynn Margulis’ sheer courage and stamina in sticking by the endosymbiosis theory, and carrying it through from being an unorthodoxy to an orthodoxy. This is one of the great achievements of twentieth-century evolutionary biology, and I greatly admire her for it."
At the present time in contemporary scientific circles, what was once regarded as an absurd speculation is now taken as self-evident truth.
Most recent biology textbooks include reference to Lynn Margulis’ theory of endosymbiosis, the majority of them put it forward as the most likely explanation of the origin and evolution of life on the planet we know as Earth.”

Evening Standard preview
League Form
Spurs: DWDWD
Arsenal: WLWLD
Spurs are currently 5th in the Premier League on 49 points, Arsenal are 6th on 45 points. They beat Everton 5-1 last time out.
Here's the match thread from the 2-0 defeat in November where two questionable Mike Dean decisions helped Arsenal, but on the balance, we played like shit and deserved our fate
Match Facts
Spurs have the second best home defensive record in the league conceding just nine times.
Spurs are also unbeaten at Wembley since the opening day of the season and were hugely impressive in their 2-0 win over Manchester United last week.
This is the first meeting between Spurs and Arsenal at Wembley since April 1993, when they met in an FA Cup semi-final, with Arsenal winning 1-0 from a Tony Adams goal.
Harry Kane has scored six goals in six Premier League games against Arsenal, only failing to score in one those games – the reverse fixture this season. The England striker has scored four times in three home Premier League games against Arsenal.
Team News
For Spurs, everyone is healthy, although might be too soon for Toby, Winks, or Rose to start coming off a lengthy layoff.
Lucas Moura is available for selection.
Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech could be fit for the game as the calf problem he picked up last weekend is not as serious as first thought. Nacho Monreal and Danny Welbeck should also be available.

$8,000/month watching sports.

Hey - Pat from StarterStory.com here with another interview.
Today's interview is with Tyler M of Moneypicks, a brand that sells sports data.
Some stats:

Hello! Who are you and what business did you start?

I am a 27 year old male from the South West United States. From an early age I was always fascinated with the idea of being an entrepreneur. My first business I remember making was creating a CD burning company in 2nd grade. Since then I was constantly brainstorming or thinking of ways to make a buck.
A huge passion of mine is sports, I grew up watching Sportscenter every night and love playing and watching sports. Another thing I love is numbers. They never lie. Statistics and numbers are so eloquent as they can convey so much information for those willing and able to find correlations within raw data.
The business I run is Moneypicks. (Instagram: @Money.picks). I use analytic models to determine the outcome of sporting events. I combine my love of sports and numbers to build proprietary systems that produce winners at a 60%+ rate.
I have a masters degree from a top 10 business school and have a high level knowledge of NHL, Soccer, NFL and MLB. My product is a membership to my site which gives you access to all my picks, and my clients are a wide range of people from different walks of life. My typical customer is a male from the age of 18-35 who loves watching sporting events.
I am currently making $200-$600 per day with almost zero overhead. I provide picks to World Series of Poker Champions, Plumbers, Doctors, Moms and everyone in between. I have been featured on the #1 Betting MMA podcast in the world and hoping to continue to have the opportunity to help teach people how to crush Vegas.
image

What's your backstory and how did you come up with the idea?

I started betting on sports during the World Cup South Africa in 2008. Like 99% of bettors I was completely over my head. I spent the next 10 years learning the hard way. I would not be writing this paragraph if I didn’t go through lots of losing. Humans only learn when we fail. Remember that.
Among my friends it got around that I had sharp picks. I started off by texting the picks to my friends for years. When the list of people getting picks got to be too much work a friend suggested I make an Instagram page to get them out.
This is where things get interesting. My page got very popular very fast. I went from 0 followers to 4000 in a little over 3 months doing absolutely nothing besides posting winning bets. A big part of this growth was during the last NHL season I was hitting at 67%. (this is confirmed on my Instagram page if you want to fact check)
Up until May of this year I was giving out all the information for free. I work a full-time sales job and to me, it was just a hobby and the love I got from giving out free winners was enough for me.
I then watched a documentary on Showtime about sports betting. They showed a guy named Vegas Dave (who I have spoken to at length on IG messages before ever watching the documentary) and he was making more money in a few hours than I make in a year at my 9-5. That’s when the lightbulb went off. Because I was providing the same service as him, at a higher level; and I already had an Instagram page with 4000 followers as potential customers.
I never went into this to make money. I was just helping people. Doing this gained the trust of my community before I ever asked for a dollar, so when I finally did start charging business flooded through the door.

Take us through the process of designing your product.

The interesting feature of this business is that there is no product. I sell information.
There are certain key metrics for various sports. In hockey some are goals for, GAA, day of the week, etc. In baseball its ERA, WHIP, Runs for and against, etc. My 10+ years of experience has allowed me to identify these key metrics. And then use the published data available to us, and reconstruct it into a formula that can accurately predict games down to the final score.
These formulas are 100% proprietary information that I developed on my own through trial and error and meticulous back testing. It was not an easy process and the amount of time and energy I have poured into perfecting the formulas for each sport is in the thousands of hours.
Although i do have a formal education in the way of a Bachelors and a Masters degree, I never took any stats classes or even bothered to care about learning to use excel until i realized i could use it to gain an edge in Sports Betting. If I had realized this in college I would have 100% taken Statistics and Excel focused classes. Because i got a late start on this i had to turn to Youtube / Google to learn the concepts, then applied my own ideas and thoughts from years of pouring over sports analytics.
This is a super important point because every single person reading this has the power to learn something totally foreign to you right now. Never before in history have we had access to so much information. You can’t ever lose that thirst for learning new things. Some of the most successful people in the world all have that in common.
It’s very important to remember one thing, I am predicting the outcomes of events that will be played by humans. Humans are irrational. All the stats can point to one outcome and if the pitcher’s girlfriend cheated on him last night, or the starting goalie goes down with an injury, then you can throw all the numbers out the window. Stats are an important tool for your tool box but they are not everything.
Like any type of investing the most important quality you can possess is discipline. Financial discipline, to always bet the same amount on every game. Emotional discipline, to not chase your losses and to bet an amount that does not elicit an emotion response if you lose. This can be a slippery slope just like the stock market, and you have to be robotic with your decisions. I don't take a team because I like their jerseys, im taking that team because they have won 7 of the last 8 on Tuesday Nights, facing a left handed pitcher with an ERA of 5.00 or higher.
My startup costs have been minimal. I paid a lawyer to form an LLC, paid for a website to be designed and hosted for 3 years. Also working with a marketing agency to produce the content for my IG page. I would say my overhead is less than $750 per month. I also buy sports memorabilia to give away to my members on a monthly basis.

Describe the process of launching the business.

Launching the business was a fluid process. As mentioned previously I began the Instagram page in November of 2018. I was just stealing people’s memes and reposting them and then also posting results from my bets.
As this started to grow, I had marketing agencies reach out to me to try and work with me. I rebuffed most until one that really caught my eye contacted me. I have been working with them ever since. My page started to get much more professional after I began working with this agency:

AFTER:

At the same time I started working with this agency, I began looking for a web developer on Fiverr.
Once I find someone good to work with, I paid him $500 to make my website. If you are thinking about starting your own business, Fiverr can be a great place to turn to for various things. I paid for everything with money from my day job.
I am very lucky to have an amazing day job, but no matter if you have the best job in the world or the worst. We ALL have time to make things happen outside the 9-5. I think that too many people get wrapped up in the idea that they are too busy.
I wake up at 6am to work an hour on Moneypicks every day, and then work from 5pm until I go to sleep. Believe it or not I actually have a third and fourth business that I make time for. If you really want it then put away the xbox and Netflix when you get home from work. Spend your weekends grinding. My mantra: Live like a prince now to live like a king forever.
In May, I officially launched as a paid service. The reaction was insane. I made $3000.00 in the first week and $8000.00 the first month. I got to 100 clients in only 36 days. It blew my mind. It was like a dream.
I offer 3 different packages as of today. Daily for $12.50, Weekly for $50.00 and Monthly for $150.00. What you get in this package is access to the members area of my website and a betting school within that members area. The packages only differ in the length of time you can access the members area. I do not have it setup on a recurring basis simply because the amount of time I would spend dealing with customer service issues is not worth the headache or extra few bucks I might make.
My prices are on the low end in the industry, the opposite end of the spectrum people pay $500 per pick or $15,000 per month. The two guys that charge this amount are much older and from a different era, I don't believe they utilize the technology that my generation wields and they don't connect to their community.
My biggest learning lesson was just trying to go too fast once I got it in my head I wanted to start charging for my information. I had lots of issues with the website. I blame myself for not spending enough time testing the site as much as I should have. Luckily I have lots of communication channels with my customers and an awesome relationship with them, so they understood about any issues that did arise.

Since launch, what has worked to attract and retain customers?

My biggest recommendation for growth is to just stick with it. I posted on my Instagram page every single day. Bad days and good days. I engaged with people. I posted memes. Tried to stay relevant with any and all sports news. But really the biggest thing that attracted customers was that they were making lots of money taking my picks.
The steps I took to increase traffic and sales was just to say yes to opportunities. I had a lot of different sports accounts reach out to partner on different projects. I would usually say yes just to gain exposure. I partnered with the #1 MMA betting podcast in the world @fistfulofcashpodcast and that was a great move.
I also have been buying sports memorabilia and giving it away as a free gift to one random member each month. I do random discount codes and email old clients that left the service just to check in with them. I post a lot of DMs from clients, when I’m doing well or they are showing love.
Sometimes i will post a random charity link and i'll put it out there on my IG that if you send me a screenshot of you donating to them then i'll give free picks for that day. But one of my main focuses is to just teach people how to bet properly. Las Vegas makes billions of dollars fleecing money off of the average joe, I want to show people how to turn the tables.
The number one way I retain clients is by being honest and truthful. This industry is 95% con artists and scams. So when I post my results, or try and teach people how to be better at this then it really reinforces why the clients are working with me.

How are you doing today and what does the future look like?

The business today is thriving. I am excited about the direction it is heading and think that the growth of the industry will do good things for Moneypicks.
I have had 69,000+ website views and sold 275+ memberships. I am working to grow my facebook presence and am looking to do some SEO on my website. My instagram following is nearing 5000 followers and I am excited about the prospect of breaking that number.
The day to day operations start with waking up early at 6am to answer DMs and work on a morning post of my results. I will then post that to generate some sales and input data to analyze that days slate of games.
I will post my picks a few hours before games then let everyone know picks are up via a story post on my instagram and letting the telegram group known to login to the website. During the evening I post story posts that show the results of the bets and respond to DMs again in the evening.

Through starting the business, have you learned anything particularly helpful or advantageous?

I have learned a ton during this process. Balancing multiple ideas, jobs, businesses can be fun but you can also make mistakes and miss opportunities if you have your eggs in too many baskets.
One opportunity I missed recently was a client who is a World Series of Poker Champion and Gold Bracelet winner had made a final table in a tournament in Vegas this summer. He texted me to get him some Moneypicks gear ASAP so he could wear it on a nationally viewed event. I missed him by a day! I didn’t move quick enough.
A lot of times you need to act quickly. Opportunity does not wear a wristwatch. Good decisions I have made were working with a marketing agency that can help manage my social media and create content for the company so that I could focus on other tasks.
A major trend that has helped me immensely is the huge popularity of sports and the proliferation of sports betting. It is becoming legal across the country and the industry will grow immensely over the next 5 years.

What platform/tools do you use for your business?

What have been the most influential books, podcasts, or other resources?

“Your wish is your command” by Kevin Trudeu. I went from making $0 per month from moneypicks to making $8000 per month literally weeks after listening to this podcast.
The law of attraction is something I have been practicing in my life without realizing it, and this podcast showed me how to harness it.

Advice for other entrepreneurs who want to get started or are just starting out?

Make it about something more than money. Care about the people. Build a community. Build a brand! Money is great, but knowing that you are impacting hundreds maybe thousands of people in a positive way is really great. In an ideal world i would love to have a way to get in front of even more people to teach them how to properly invest but also some of the information I have learned along the way. I think building a platform is a greater opportunity than creating a business that simply makes money. Money is a means to an end, but true fulfillment comes from reaching for something greater.

Are you looking to hire for certain positions right now?

I am looking for someone who can create content on illustratoPS, IG marketing, growth marketing, SEO. I am also looking for someone who can scrape data from the web into google sheets/excel. Anyone with connections that you might think can grow the company.

Where can we go to learn more?

Connections
Eagles S Chris Maragos spent three seasons with the Seahawks from 2011-13, playing in 43 games and notching 29 special teams tackles while helping Seattle win Super Bowl XLVIII in 2013
Eagles P Donnie Jones was originally a seventh round draft choice of the Seahawks in 2004 and split his rookie season between the Seattle active roster and practice squad
Eagles Pro scout Louis Clark was a 10th round pick of the Seahawks in 1987. He spent six seasons wit Seattle during his pro career
Seahawks DB and University of Delaware product Marcus Burley spent a month on the Eagles practice squad in 2013
Seahawks (PS) FB Stanley Havili spent two seasons (2011-12) with the Eagles, appearing in 15 games for Philadelphia in 2012. Havili was also a college roommate of Eagles QB Mark Sanchez. It's not Tebow/Cooper but still fun!
Seahawks Area Scout (NE) Todd Brunner spent six seasons (1992-97) with the Eagles in a scouting capacity
Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll was the College Head Coach (USC) for both Mark Sanchez and Matt Barkley.
Seahawks C Max Unger and FB Will Tukuafu played under Chip Kelly at Oregon.
The father of Seahawks WR Paul Richardson, Paul Sr., appeared in one game for the Eagles in 1993
Eagles tight ends coach Ted Williams spent three seasons (1991-93) as the offensive coordinatoRBs coach at Washington State
Eagles RB Chris Polk finished his collegiate career as the second-leading rusher in University of Washington history, having rushed for 4,049 yards and 26 TDs in his three years in school
Eagles LB Travis Long attended Washington State and hails from Spokane, WA. LB Bryan Braman is also a native of Spokane, WA
Talking Points
The series between the two teams began in 1976 with a 27-10 Eagles victory at Veterans Stadium
Seattle has played only three games in Philadelphia over the past 25 years and won them all.
Seven of the last ten contests between the two teams have been decided by at least two scores
The Seahawks have held four of their past five opponents under 65 yards rushing, and they've forced 11 turnovers in the past six. They're 5-1 in that span while limiting opposing quarterbacks to a 65.0 rating, with only Eli Manning throwing for more than 200 yards.
There really is no such thing as a Seahawk. The mascot used by Seattle is actually an osprey (augur buzzard) which originally hails from Africa. 99% of it's diet consists of fish and the other 1% is likely the 49ers. While the osprey is one of only two birds (owls) that have a reversible toe, it's talons are much smaller than that of an American Bald Eagle. We all can agree that size matters.
Eagles should have their hands full with Seattle's top-ranked rushing offense (168.6 ypg). While Russell Wilson has run for nearly twice as many yards (679) as any other quarterback, Marshawn Lynch is fifth in the league with 956 and leads with nine touchdown runs.
Chip Kelly handed Pete Carroll one of his worst losses at Southern California in their only collegiate matchup in 2009. Oregon won 47-20 against a fourth-ranked Trojans team and totaled 613 yards the most ever gained on one of Carroll's USC defenses.
Dan Marino and Matt Ryan had 33 wins over their first three seasons - which is the most by any NFL Quarterback. Russell Wilson currently has 32 wins with 4 regular season games left to play.
Eagles
The Eagles have won 10-consecutive games at home, which is the third longest home winning streak in team history. They can tie for second place with a win on Sunday, matching the 11-game mark set by the 1991-93 Eagles
Led by Connor Barwin and his 12.5 sacks, the Eagles defense has seen seven different players set or tie career highs in sacks this season
Since Week 6, LeSean McCoy has tallied 745 rushing yards in seven games, the second-highest total in the NFL over that span behind only Dallas RB DeMarco Murray (757)
Eagles rookie K Cody Parkey has hit 27 field goals in his first year in the league, which leaves him six away from the team’s single-season record of 33 set by David Akers in 2008
RB LeSean McCoy (6,491) needs 48 rushing yards to break Wilbert Montgomery’s team record of 6,538 yards, which he has held since 1984. With 43 career rushing touchdowns, McCoy needs two more to tie Montgomery (45) for second place on the team’s all-time list. If McCoy reaches 100 rushing yards against Seattle, it would mark the first time in his career that he has surpassed 100 yards in three-consecutive games and would tie for the second-longest streak in team history, behind Steve Van Buren’s four-game streak in 1948
WR Jeremy Maclin needs 1 receiving touchdown to tie his career high of 10 scores, set in 2010. Maclin (4,541) needs 94 receiving yards to pass Fred Barnett for ninth place on the team’s all-time receiving yardage leaderboard. After surpassing 1,000 yards for the first time in his career, Maclin (1,088) can climb into the top 10 in single-season receiving yards with 59 yards and can move into the top five with 160 yards receiving. With 71 receptions, Maclin needs six catches to tie for the ninth most in a single season in Eagles history, seven to tie for seventh and 10 to tie for fifth place. Maclin (9) needs two receiving touchdowns to tie for the fifth-highest single-season total in team history and mark the most since Terrell Owens (14) in 2004.
RB/PR Darren Sproles (480) needs 10 yards to pass Larry Marshall (489 in 1977) for third place in Eagles single-season history, 24 to pass Vai Sikahema (503 in 1992) and 88 to set the team record currently held by Brian Mitchell (567 in 2002). Sproles (2) can become the Eagles franchise leader in punt return touchdowns in a single season with his next return for a score
QB Mark Sanchez needs another 300+ yard output, Sanchez (3) can set a career high and tie for the third-most ever by an Eagle in a single season.
WR Jordan Matthews is third among rookies with seven TD catches, including five in past five games.
LB Connor Barwin has 24 tackles + 6.5 sacks + 1 forced fumble = NFC Defensive Player of the Month.
Seahawks
QB Russell Wilson has a 110.9 rating (4 TDs, 0 INTs) in past 3 games. With 1 more rushing touchdown Wilson (9) can tie Lamar Smith and Dave Krieg for 10th on the Seahawks all-time rushing touchdown list.
RB Marshawn Lynch rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns when the Eagles and Seahawks last met in 2011. Lynch needs 44 yards & 1 TD to rush for 1,000 yards & 10 TDs for 4th consecutive season.
CB Richard Sherman had 2 interceptions last week. Since entering league in 2011, Sherman leads NFL with 23 interceptions. His 23 interceptions are the most in the first 4 seasons by active player.
WR Doug Baldwin (14) needs 1 more relieving touchdown to move into a 5 way tie (Golden Tate, Deion Branch, Nate Burleson, and Jerramy Stevens) for 9th place on the Seahawks all-time receiving touchdown list. With 12 receptions he can move into 15th place (shared with Deion Branch) on the all-time reception list

AFTER:

image
